AVA - Improved Rabies Detection
The process of identifying a rabies vaccination has been broadened. This applies to both AVA Voice and AVA Outbound when identifying a reminder record. With this change, AVA will more accurately detect when a rabies vaccination needs to be scheduled with a doctor, as opposed to other vaccinations which can be administered by technicians.
AVA Voice - New Client Context
AVA now supports client context specifically when identifying a new client. This can be used to list different policies or offer promotional discounts for new clients after AVA recognizes the call is with a new client.
AVA Scheduler - Forward Reminder Check
AVA Scheduler now supports an option to look ahead for reminders. If an existing client tries to book a visit type, AVA can now check ahead for any reminders and if any are due, can propose booking these instead. The option is intended to increase reminder compliance.
An option was also added to make this check mandatory - in these cases, the client can only book for the recommended appointment type.
AVA Outbound Introduction Enhancements
AVA Outbound no longer waits for the client to speak to begin speaking and will start the introduction with "Hi, is this [pet_name]'s owner?" After receiving a positive confirmation will start to play the introduction message. This is meant to address calls where AVA receives no client input and the call ultimately abandons. The mention of the pet name also helps with call recognition.
AVA - Improved Booking Confirmation Handling
AVA now waits for a success response from the API before confirming the appointment to the client. This ensures the booking is successfully registered before mentioning success to the client, and prevents situations where the client thinks there is an appointment on the books that hasn't actually arrived.
